A Very Fancy Servant's Room -- Josephine's Château
copyright 2011 Lisa B. Falour, BS, MBA all rights reserved LISA, INC. (EURL) cutecatfaith.com If I understood correctly, this was her personal servant's room. This château was built for her by her second husband, the Emperor Napoléon, to the West of Paris at Reuil-Malmaison. The first Sunday of every month is "heritage day" in France and many places which normally charge admission give free entry. If you like the Empire style, you've just got to see this place! The gardens are lovely, too. I am a private guide and can take you there. I can help you plan and arrange a business or pleasure trip to France, and I am based around Paris. I do translation, interpretation, analysis and creative and commercial consulting.
